World Environment Day

On June 5, 2024, students celebrated World Environment Day with a series of impactful initiatives promoting environmental stewardship. Guided by NSS coordinator Jayakrishnan P V and College Principal Dr. N Sethumadhavan, the day commenced with an inaugural ceremony highlighting the importance of sustainability in education.

In collaboration with NSS Unit 267 and the Swachh Bharat Initiative, students took part in a cleanup drive around Onamkulam Pond, not only enhancing the beauty of the area but also emphasizing the need to preserve cleanliness and protect local ecosystems.

Additionally, students planted ornamental plants around the pond, further improving its aesthetic appeal while contributing to biodiversity conservation. The event showcased the students’ commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable development, reflecting the college's mission to nurture future educators who prioritize environmental awareness in both their teaching and community involvement.
