Staff Council

The College Staff Council is a dedicated body that ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the institution. It fosters open communication, addresses concerns and encourages collaboration among staff members, contributing to a productive work environment. At the beginning of each academic year, the Principal assigns duties to the council and regular monitoring of the various committees, cells and clubs is conducted. The council members plan, initiate discussions and submit points for approval to the designated members.

Guidelines:

  • The College Staff Council comprises the Principal, Head of the M.Ed. Department, Vice Principal and staff representatives.
  • The Principal serves as the Chairman of the council. A Secretary is appointed by mutual agreement of the council members, with a tenure of one year.
  • The Secretary is responsible for issuing meeting notices, preparing the agenda, recording meeting minutes, and communicating these proceedings to the Principal and staff in writing.
  • The Council is tasked with addressing urgent matters brought forward by the Grievance Cell, and, when necessary, may call meetings chaired by the Principal without prior notice to resolve such issues.
