The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of National College for Teacher Education, Perumbavoor was established in 2012 as a proactive step towards sustaining and enhancing academic and institutional excellence. Functioning as a central quality monitoring body, the IQAC is committed to developing a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the college’s functioning. It facilitates the implementation of best practices, ensures stakeholder participation and prepares the groundwork for accreditation and academic audits. Through systematic planning, documentation and evaluation, the IQAC contributes significantly to the college’s journey toward quality enhancement and assurance.

Since its inception, the IQAC has played a pivotal role in institutionalizing quality assurance practices across academic, administrative, outreach and co-curricular domains. It has actively coordinated feedback mechanisms, promoted faculty development programs, facilitated research and innovation and supported the integration of ICT in teaching and learning. The Cell also takes the lead in preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and ensuring the timely submission of NAAC-related documentation, thereby upholding the standards and credibility of the institution.
